OBJECTIVES

Collaborate to conceptualize and design a collection of double label (ILLEST X CROOKS) apparel and accessories. It will act as a prologue for a challenge in which both companies will participate in: Annual SCION TUNER CHALLENGE at SEMA Show. A series of social media contests will also be held.

APPROACH

It wasn’t the first time that both companies decided to produce a double label collection to gather both of their followings as one. Similarly, I’ve combined the logo marks of both companies to create a discernible circular mark . A custom logotype and a pattern based on Crooks & Castles’ love for Versace and “ILL” incorporated together were created. With SCION TUNER CHALLENGE in mind, both companies agreed to a single theme: CARS. Porsche representing Illest’s roots and Ferrari showcasing Crooks’ elite lifestyle.

In touch with a printer, I’ve designed and created these envelopes as part of the scavenger hunt contest in San Francisco Art Derecho has initiated to get our customers hyped up for the coming collaboration. First placer won cash and the full collection. Second placer won apparel and head wear. Third placer won a part of the collection. Crooks and Castles also did this in Los Angeles with their own twist.
Mmmmm mhmm. I live for details like this.
